About GolfAuth

Building trust into every premium golf club.

GolfAuth is the verified-ownership network for golf equipment, so authenticity, provenance, and history stay with the club across every fitting, sale, and transfer.

Darren founded GolfAuth to give premium golf equipment the same portable trust layer that cars, watches, and other high-value goods already have, so ownership, authenticity, and history travel with the club, not the handshake.

Based in Queensland, Australia, he is building GolfAuth as neutral industry infrastructure: one verified-ownership network that serves golfers, fitting professionals, and pro shops without favouring any OEM or retailer.

Why we exist

A premium equipment market still running on handshakes.

Cars have title chains. Watches have serial registries. Art has provenance trails. Golf equipment, where a single driver can cost $750 and a tour putter far more, still mostly relies on trust between strangers.

Counterfeits circulate because authenticity is hard to prove. Lost gear stays lost because ownership is hard to show. Fitting specs disappear between shops. Resale leans on photos, forums, and gut feel.

GolfAuth exists to close that gap with a shared, manufacturer-neutral ledger of ownership and authenticity.

How it works

Two products. One ownership ledger.

Clubs registered through GolfAuth carry a digital record of ownership, authenticity, and history that moves with the equipment, not just the current conversation.

For golfers

GolfAuth Core

Your verified digital bag, an AI Caddie that knows those clubs, live valuations, receipt forwarding for provenance, marketplace listings, Lost & Found alerts, and one-tap ownership transfer when you sell.

For professionals

GolfAuth Pro

For fitters: customer records, sessions, quotes, Stripe Connect, supplier orders, and a Pro Shop marketplace. For green-grass shops: trade-in verification, Lost & Found audit trails, and a member directory that survives staff changes.

Four tiers of verified provenance

Self-Registered. Entered by the owner: the starting point.
Receipt-Verified. Original purchase receipt uploaded and matched.
Pro-Verified. Built or sold by a verified GolfAuth Pro fitter.
GolfAuth Certified. Passed authentication checks against the verification network.

Principles

How we decide what to build.

Neutral by design.

Owned by no manufacturer, tied to no retailer. The ledger only works if golfers, pros, and OEMs can trust it equally.

Network over features.

Every verified club strengthens the network for everyone. We prioritise what grows the ledger, not just the feature list.

Golfer at the centre.

The bag belongs to the golfer. Their record travels with them. Benefits for shops and brands must flow back to the owner.

Honest about limits.

Coverage compounds with adoption. We say what works today and what gets stronger as more clubs join. No overpromises.

Who it serves

Built for the whole golf ecosystem.

Golfers

A verified bag, an AI Caddie that knows it, and clearer resale value when provenance is documented.

Master fitters & PGA pros

Customer history that survives every visit, and Pro-Verified outcomes that carry your name in the bag.

Green-grass pro shops

Trade-in verification, Lost & Found audit trails, and a member directory that outlasts staff turnover.

OEMs (roadmap)

Counterfeit cluster signals, warranty validation, and secondary-market visibility after the first sale.

Insurers (roadmap)

Structured equipment records, clearer fraud signals, and faster claims decisions.

Governing bodies (roadmap)

Conforming-club registries that can be checked, not left to honour systems at registration.
